Helllooo June!

Happy June, friends!
We have a big weekend of sales + First Friday happenings before the city gets busy with the World Cup.

You know Urban Mining + West Bottoms are open for business but other fun things to do this weekend include:
A special flower farm tour with Nurturing with Nature

The grand opening of the new/old Overland Park Farmer's Market

Plus a few artsy things coming up this month:
Ceramic Clock workshops with Riley Makes Things
a Stained Glass Workshop with Lost + Found Design (in collab with Kanbe's!)

As for the sales, we are antique heavy this weekend. Let's get into it!

The Call-Out Section

Thursday is the last day for this Overland Park sale, if you want to swing through for last day deals.

Over a thousand vinyls in 64114 (address will be posted Thursday morning).

Independence has a bunch of dolls (stay with me) and two kilns! They're not speaking on what condition the kilns are in but it sounds like they were used a lot by the owner.

And another Independence sale with side tables with flair and vintage kitchen collectibles.

Okay apparently Independence is popping this weekend. This sale has a designer purse collection (and some clothing + shoes to sift through) but not much else.

This Blue Springs sale is full of antique pieces and vintage treasures. I'm loving the cast iron bedside lamp, this detailed wooden pedestal, these shadow boxes, and these Missouri sales tax "receipts" from the Great Depression.

and if you're already over that way, this Blue Springs sale is offering 25% off on the first day. Mainly good for vinyls + holiday decor but let me know if you get anything else good.

Swing through North Kansas City for wicker grandma vibes + this green marble (faux marble?) kitchen set.

I'd drive to Pleasant Valley just for this vintage sign but once you're there, check out the jewelry, tools, and vintage home decor.

A Sunday - Monday sale with fun baseball ephemera, vintage photos, and a few charming furniture pieces.

Thank you for shopping your local sales!

600+ photos and well worth the peruse

119th & Mission
Leawood, KS 66209

Friday - Sunday | Cash + Card

A gorgeous collection of art, furniture, and decor curated over a lifetime. Homeowners were associated with the annual Dragon Boat Festivals so you'll see a few flags + memorabilia from previous events.

the smoker house (in a good way)

Overland Park, KS 66212
Saturday - Sunday | Cash + Card
Antique marketing + packaging materials
with a heavy hand of cigarette ads, ashtrays, stained glass, bar lights, vintage signage, and vintage holiday decor.

take a drive for antique fun in Paola

Paola, KS 66071
Saturday - Monday | Cash + Card
There are some newer pieces mixed in but you will largely find antique furniture, all kinds of vintage novelty (including the Monopoly Man going to jail), vinyls, a motorcycle jacket collection, and more! I like it for the wooden furniture + leather chair options.
