I did a lot of narrowing down from what I saw on the sales listing for this weekend because we're starting to see a lot of moving / downsizing sales BUT what we are left with is a fun collection of furniture + art (with a few good clothing sales sprinkled in).
​
The Waldo area is popular with sales this weekend but don't miss the Overland Park sale I detail below, and yes: Dwain Smith Antiques is doing another one-day sale!

The Call-Out Section
​This Waldo sale is focused on mid-century + antique furniture pieces (with a special mention to vinyls + old media) but the star is really the furniture options. (Thursday - Saturday)
​
Another sale that's all about the furniture: this treasure hunt near 119th and Pflumm. This sale won't be your be-all end-all of the weekend but I do need someone to go get this coffee table!! (Thurs - Fri, Sunday)

A good Midwest collection of antiques out in Raymore with vintage linens, vinyls, and an all-seasons golf cart. (Thursday - Saturday)

It's a glassware-palooza over in Independence, with special mention to costume jewelry and sewing supplies. (Thursday - Saturday)

I was going to skip over this Blue Springs sale but you guys need to see the heart-shaped side table (cute!) and the cat dolls (weird!)

Hit up Leawood for fun paintings + posters. (Friday + Saturday)

​Another day of Dwain Smith Antiques! Sunday only!​

The photos are sparse but the house is 7,000 sq ft filled with everything from crafting supplies to antique decor and clothing (with tags still on!)

We start with a collection of retro Christmas decor and make our way through the house with retro Kitchenaids, tomato-shaped dishes, and all kinds of clothing pieces (don't miss the vintage housecoat). Also of note: Vintage Cookbooks, Bedroom Furniture, and so much more!!

The Marketplace Section​
​I have a few mid-century pieces for sale (on behalf of a friend who is moving house soon). The dresser is vintage, while other pieces (like the barstools) have been sourced to match the mid-century flair of the house.
