We've entered the perfect time to source your Halloween decor and Halloween costumes! I mean, if you're like me, you've been planning your Halloween costume on and off since February but we are finally narrowing in on the timeframe that thrift stores and estate sales are stocked with what you need.

This weekend especially has some fun options for clothing + accessories, along with colorful decor pieces and retro Halloween collectibles. Happy Shopping!

The Call-Out Section
Ends Thursday! Granny chic coats + brooches, with more traditional and leather furniture pieces. (8am to 3pm on Thursday)

Antique fun in Overland Park. I'm really into the furniture pieces but those looking for multi-colored glass pieces and pitchers / vases / kitchen crocks are in luck. (Thurs - Sat)

Moving Sale in Olathe: The furniture pieces have style, I'm particular to these bar stools. See also: Longaberger dishes, antique decor, and potted plants. (Thurs - Sat)

Independence has some mid-century-inspired furniture options, really beautiful quilts, and a fun but random collection of home decor. (Thurs - Fri)

Grain Valley for fall + Halloween decor, including some weird mannequins and a few dresses that could inspire your Halloween costume. (Thurs - Sat)

Paola has novelty + retro pieces, along with some truly unique decor. I'm honestly into the quirky cat pieces but I don't know if I'll drive out for this sale. (Thurs - Fri)

This house in Shawnee has quite the collection of architectural accents. I had to google to get the terms right: we have these carved urn-type pieces, corbels (of an uncertain weight), and balusters, and likely more pieces not pictured. ALSO: tons of lamps, mirrors and picture frames! (Fri - Sun)

This Shawnee sale is more focused on baseball memorabilia, clothes, and pretty decor, and I personally like the upholstery on this chair. (Fri - Sat)

I'll be honest, sometimes I look through these sales and they all look the same, this Olathe one looks like a lot of the ones I've mentioned above. The only standout pieces (imo) are the array of serving + entertaining dishes, and these Victorian house cookie jars. (Fri - Sun)

Saturday only in Gardner: Retro, colorful home decor + collectibles.
