Yeah, yeah it is still technically September but mentally, I am in Halloween mode. But don't worry, the sales are right there with me. The holiday decor is out in full force, and maybe I'm biased in this but it feels like the barnyard decor is out in full force as well. Urban Mining is also on the same page (with the Halloween decor, not the barnyard vibes). Plus, I swear I'm seeing things for sale at UM that we had in the newsletter a few weeks ago (those oversized playing cards! the egg artwork!). We have tons of pick + pull sales below if you're up for a drive! Happy shopping, friends. |

The Call-Out Section Lenexa is giving country chic with hand-painted decor, needlepoint pieces, and a stained glass chicken lamp. (Wed - Fri, Cash / Venmo only!) Leawood has a few mid-century furniture pieces, some great quality kitchen equipment + cooking supplies, hand tools, power tools, and I'm partial to the artwork options. A good stock up sale! (Thurs - Sat) If you're in the market for mid-century furniture, this Overland Park sale has larger pieces including: a full matching headboard / wardrobe / dresser set, some accent chairs, a few decor pieces, and abstract art including whatever this is. (Fri - Sat) Shawnee is your one-stop-shop for novelty! The toys, the collectibles, the decor (especially for Halloween and Christmas), the stained glass pieces, the tech + media, and the Elvis collection. Outside of this, we also have a concerning doll + dress collection, tons of glass pieces, and sewing supplies. (Thurs - Sat) I would just go to this sale in Lee's Summit to check out the Halloween decor. (Thurs - Sat) Your Golden Girls sale of the weekend in PV with white wicker and vintage clothing options! (Fri - Sat) This smaller sale in OP has a few choice pieces: the wood furniture, the soup bowls, and these animal-shaped watering cans! (Fri - Sat) This Pleasant Hill sale is good for bar signs, very old user manuals, holiday decor, vinyls, and sweaters. I'm esp into the sweaters. (Fri - Sun) There is a lot of this sale that does not speak to me but it's huge and great for tools, outdoor planters, and maybe even more if your vibe is woodsy, midwest hunter BUT I cannot stop thinking about this turtle ottoman. go for the clothing!! and the photo studio equipment!!
119th St and Switzer Overland Park, KS 66213 Fri - Sun | Cash, Card + Venmo This sale initially leans very traditional (see: Waterford Crystal) but they had me as soon as I saw the 80's technicolor Pizza Hut polo. The kitchen decor + dishes are fun, the artwork is pretty interesting. There's studio lighting, gray seamless, + a studio stand for my photog friends. But I think the clothing is the big ticket here, especially for jackets and blazers.

your "picker" options this weekend
817 N. Main St Independence, MO 64050 Wed - Sat | Cash, Card + Venmo This gorgeous late 1800's house in Independence is full of well-made and well-loved items. I can't even fully list everything available in this collection: there's furniture, vintage clothing, framed artwork, antique pieces like I've never seen before, etc etc etc.
Kansas City, MO 64155 Thurs - Sat | Cash + Card I don't think this is technically a picker sale but it absolutely feels like it with the amount of collectibles packed in one house. The vintage cookbooks are my personal fave. Raymore, MO 64083 Sat - Sun | Cash, Card + Venmo A fun sale for decor but this is absolutely a mixed bag in terms of design styles and personal preferences. I am really into these chicken plates though. Bucyrus, KS 66013 Fri - Mon | Cash + Card Holy Christmas decor, but also holy vintage clothing options. I kept having to check that this sale isn't at an antique store or an offsite warehouse because it is truly packed to the brim.
