Folks, we are full up with estate sales this weekend. I'm seeing lots of picker-type sales as the weather gets nicer and this weekend in particular has them in nearly every corner of town. If you're scouting good quality kitchen items, this is a good weekend for it! Pots, pans, casserole dishes, items that only need a quick clean and you've got a beautiful item for less than retail price, which is the perk of estate sales. Also if you've been paying attention, you'll see there is never a bad time to buy your holiday decor. It's a good weekend for fall + winter decor but there are some peeks of spring in the sales too. |

What else is going on this weekend? ends Thursday: a fun mid-century home in east Kansas City, the sale ends at 1pm on Thursday so this may be your first stop! Love the furniture, love the tabletop trinkets, love the vintage Christmas ornaments. ends Thursday: an "unusual pickers sale" in Lee's Summit with lots of interesting antiques, lamps, and avocado green appliances! If anyone swings through, let me know! also in Lee's Summit, a spooky little accent chair stands out at this sale full of men's clothing + shoes. also of note, workout equipment, camping supplies, and garage tools. also also in Lee's Summit, a curated collection of antiques and outdoor farm equipment. My standout piece of the sale is the vintage Eddie Bauer croquet set in the cutest metal purse. my god Lee's Summit is popping this weekend and this one is stuffed but I really like the kitchen items and holiday decor! taxidermy warning in Sibley, MO. The house is very much a mid-century time capsule with picker vibes. It'll be 75% off on Sunday if you make your way out there. full house in Lenexa, the furniture isn't much to look at but I like this sale for decor, lamps, and costume jewelry. Lots of vintage magazines too! good quality kitchen items in Olathe!! It's a classic Olathe estate sale. I really love the variety of kitchen items, but they also have clothing + shoes, tools, and camping supplies. the kind of luxury only Overland Park can provide, with a sauna and a hot dog roller in the same place. I prefer the furniture options, like the Danish-style Dining Chairs. a rare Paola sale with collector vibes. I like the mid-century furniture, I like the vinyls, and I really like this cowboy light fixture. thsis estate sale company is new to me so I don't know how they price things BUT they have tons of cool art pieces this weekend, I love this Winstead's one. Leavenworth has a very retro sale with antique furniture pieces, vintage advertisements + products, and corn dishes! and so many baskets dear god
Thank you for shopping your local sales!

in the same neck of the woods, there's a moving sale with minimal photos for now. It ends Saturday at 3pm so I'd swing through that afternoon to haggle and get some discounts. |

a cutie Fairway sale / more listed in the description than what's pictured
Fairway, KS 66205 Friday - Sunday | no payment info Based on what's currently pictured, I love the candle holders and tabletop decor pieces, and this chest of drawers is beautiful. I think the furniture, kitchen items, and tools will be plentiful.

minimal photos but I like the potential of the sale
Olathe, KS 66062 Saturday - Sunday | Cash + Card Mainly I like the vintage Christmas decor and power tools but the furniture and serving dishes are not bad. Overall the vibe leans slightly suburban grandma and yet I love it.
